|Gastec detector tubes
GASTEC gas detector tubes are thin glass tubes with calibration scales printed on them so you can directly read concentrations of the substances (gases and vapours) to be measured. Each tube contains a particulate matrix (e.g. silica gel, alumina) which binds carefully selected and highly stable detection reagents that are especially sensitive to the target substance in order to produce a distinct layer of colour change. The tubes are hermetically sealed at both ends.
Today over 600 types of target gas can be measured.

Airtec tubes are a convenient and simple system for testing of a gas cylinder, compressed breathing air and air line. Industrial operations often produce, or are performed in the presence of harmful airborne contaminants. When self contained breathing apparatus or other devices are used for respiratory protection, the quality of the breathing air requires special attention. Contaminants entering the compressor or contaminants generated by the compressor or cylinder can be harmful to the worker and the respiratory equipment.

G460 detectors are available for use with a wide range of longlasting, interchangeable smart-sensors for LEL, O2, H2S, CO, NH3, SO2, CI2, PH3, NO2, HCN, ETO, ClO2, HF, O3, NO and H2. |RC Rig Protector Mobile Monitoring
RC Systems Rig Protector Multipoint Critical Gas Detection and Monitoring package is a wireless detection and monitoring system that warns of hazardous gas levels. The system monitors up to four points and can transmit data for up to 3 miles. It is suitable for hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia,and certain combustibles. RC Systems Model ST -46 Non-Intrusive Sensor Transmitter allows complete calibration to be performed on sensors and analysers without opening their enclosures. The only tool required is a small magnetic wand designed to be carried on a key chain. The ST-46I accepts 4-20mA inputs, the ST-46LEL accepts catalytic bead combustible detectors and the ST-46EC accepts electrochemical sensors.

The FGD3 series gas detectors are powered from an intrinsically safe dc power supply and provide an industry standard 4 to 20mA output signal.
They are fitted with a single gas Infrared, Catalytic or Electrochemical sensor for the detection of either Flammable (Hydrocarbon) gases, Toxic Gases or Oxygen according to the type of sensor fitted.

Status Scientific Controls - Flameproof Gas Detectors
FGD10 Series infrared and non-infrared
IECEx and SIRA cerified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Flameproof Fixed Gas Detectors are used in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres where, due to the nature of the environment or the industrial process taking place, there is the risk of an incendive spark from electrical apparatus causing an explosion to occur.
Typical Examples are the oil, gas and chemicals industries.
The FGD 10 series comprises detectors with or without a window and digital display. They can be supplied either in aluminium (standard type) or grade 316 stainless steel (suffix '-SS' ).

Safe Area Gas Detectors - Loop Powered FGD4 Series of 4 To 20mA Transmitters
The FGD4 series of gas detectors are powered from an 8 to 24 volts dc power supply using the industry standard 4 to 20mA two-wire current loop to transmit the gas level to a separate control panel such as the Status Scientific Controls LC Series. The Carbon Dioxide version uses Infrared gas detection technology and requires a third connection to power the infrared sensor.
Note - These gas detectors are not certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and therefore must only be used in applications where it is known that potentially explosive gases do not exist.
Typical examples of their use are in water purification processes, food preparation and/or storage, car parks, swimming pools, medical applications.
They are available for detection of the following common gas types:
